Boys Over Flowers Episode 1 Synopsis Part 3

Min Ha:" When I'm dead, you can bill it to my house."

Jan-Di tilts her head to one side and back, then says,"Now, don't be like that...D...d...d...dead?" Now, she starts to comprehend what is happening here! "You're gonna die now?"

<--- Jan-Di's shocked expression

Jan-Di:" Why?"
Min Ha turns around and looks into the far.
Jan-Di:"Why? You go to such a great school."
Min Ha shakes his head and says:"No, this isn't a school, it's hell."
Jan-Di:"Excuse me! The real hell is outside of this building. Have you heard of admissions hell?"
Min Ha:" Have you heard of F4?"
Jan-Di:"F...F...what? F4? What is that?"
Min Ha:"The moment you get a red card from them, you become prey for the entire school. This explains the red card seen previously in Min Ha's locker. No wonder he was surrounded and beaten up. "Remember it." Min Ha says. Jan-Di:"Ah...ah..ahhh."She points out the blood on Min Ha's face using cute gestures and exclaims in anger:"You can't let them do that to you! Its always the lame losers who walk around like they're shit. If it was my school, I would have grabbed them and break them!" Min Ha laughs and nods. "They're fortunate;your friends." He says. "Huh?" "That they have a friend like you." Jan-Di laughs and says:"Well...I suppose so."

Min Ha turns around and assumes a jumping position. Jan-Di turns from smiles to shock and shouts:"No!"

Min Ha jumps off and all the students start Ooh-ing and Aah-ing. Jan-Di shouts No! again and runs forward to grab his shirt, saving him!

A photo is taken of the moment and put online, with the caption [Brave common student, who is she? Aristocratic elite school Shinhwa High School's murder?]

The scene changes to show a train. It zooms in to one of the passengers, a girl staring queerly at her phone, only to reveal her looking at an article with another picture of Jan-Di, this time saying [Shinhwa High's group bullying, the saviour is a common Wonder Girl.]

So, now Jan-Di turns from a commoner to a Wonder Girl!

Female voice:"What is happening at the prestigious Shinhwa High school now?"

Male voice:" Who saved the student being severely bullied by his school at Shinhwa High is... not rich nor comes from a family with a title ... (train displays a picture of Jan-Di with Min Ha's clothes at the rooftop)

Female voice:" Today's news: Aristocratice Elite school Shinhwa High School's real identity?"

Younger Female Voice :" Shinhwa High's group bullying, the saviour is a common Wonder Girl. (scene now shows a girl typing.)"

"Brave common girl. Who is she?"

Male voice:" But rather an ordinary female high school student who happened to be delivering dry cleaning."

Female mature voice:"The children of god who are exempt from entrance exams, if you don't have anything else better to do, take the entrance exams."

(Scene now shows a television showing many people protesting)

Protestors:" There is only so far a special privilege can go, Shinhwa Group confess! A mother with a child, this is something that is unforgivable. Starting from tomorrow, let's not go to Shinhwa Mart! Shinhwa Grouo, blow yourself, blow yourself! Abolish special education!

Female news reporter:" I am here where people are protesting against the Shinhwa Group and the special eduation system. Let's hear some opinions from the citizens."

The scene now shows Jan-Di wiping tables at a restaurant with an intrigued round-specs guy staring at the television.

Female news reporter:"Hello, why are you out today for the candle protest?"

                     
Interviewed guy:" My friend was also heavily bullied and he dropped out of school, we can say that because of the unbearable stress of the entrance exams, but they have no hardships whatsoever, don't you think so?"

Jan-Di sighs and stares at the television screen in disbelief. She walks up angrily and snatches the remote control to off the television.

Ga-Eul: Jan-Di, do you know what your nickname now is?"

Ga-Eul stares intently at the computer screen and continues:"Common hero, Wonder Girl, you are our generation's true Wonder Woman. Jan Di Dry Cleaners, fighting! Wonder Girl to Shinhwa High!"

However, Jan-Di doesn't look to pleased to hear all of this she says:" Stop that!" and Ga-Eul laughs.

Ga-Eul:"But...that Flower Four? I wonder if they're really that pretty... I think all my wishes would come true if I could see them close up..."

Boss:"Flower Four?"

Jan-Di:"Flower Four, right... More like Fly Four... They herd around poop. Ga-Eul laughs as Jan-Di says that.

Jan-Di steps out angrily when suddenly she is approached by a whole horde of people, snapping photos like crazy.

Guy:"Jan-Di! Look here! Do you have anything to say?"

Female:"Look here!"

"Here!"

Jan-Di is shocked and doesn't know how to react to this sudden pack of people(supposedly reporters). She bows her head for a while and raises up her head smiling awkwardly.

Guy interviewed on television:" I mean is that school for gifted? It's not even a foreign language school or a science high school, like it states, its a school for the rich. And isn;t Korea a republic? Those kinds of bourgeoisie schools should..."

The screen gets cut off and the camera turns to an angry woman of middle age.

The sign reads: [CEO Kang Hee Soo], this is supposedly the CEO of Shinhwa. Of course she wouldn't be too happy now that people are boycotting her company products...

She looks down at a magazine, open to the page of Jan-Di's article. She stares intently at the pictures. Then, a man wearing a suit knocks and comes into the room, bowing to Mdm Kang.


Man:" I apologize. Right now the PR team is working busily with the press to..."
He is cut off by Mdm Kang.
Mdm Kang:"Wait, is this what you all working busily? How can you let Jun Pyo's name come out of those reporter's mouths? [she slams the table in anger while staring at the man]"
Man:"I don't have any excuses..."
Mdm Kang:"Do you know why the public is scary? Because they are dumb. If they start getting crazy for a cause then it's impossible to stop them. It cannot be dealt with through reasoning and sense. The one who started the fire should be responsible to extinguish it. (She means Jan-Di)"

A woman walks in and says:" CEO, the Premier is on the phone for you."

Mdm Kang:"Yes, this is Kang Hee Soo speaking. (suddenly a very nice tone comes out of her mouth...) Yes, the events are unfolding to be more entertaining."

Scene changes to show Jan-Di riding her bike home at night.
Jan-Di:"I had to run away from the paparazzi and wasted my time because of a false delivery. Shinhwa High, every time I think about it I get nauseous.

The sign says Jan Di Dry Cleaners.





Jan-Di arrives home and says I'm back, raising her head only to be shocked.

Jan-Di's father:"Oh, she is here on time! Jan-Di, say hello. He says he's here on behalf of the Shinhwa Group's CEO."
Man:"Now I finally get to see the famous Wonder Girl. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Jan-Di thinking that they are here to accuse her or something says:"I didn't push him. Really, it was ht eF4 or something, they were the ones who were..."
Man:"I'm here just too..."
Jan-Di's mother:"Jan Di, our daughter, don't be surprised. Starting from tomorrow, you will be attending Shinhwa High School!"

Whole Family:"You will be attending there!"

Jan Di opens her mouth in surprise while her family cheer:W-What?

Boys Over Flowers Episode 1 Synopsis Part 2

The guys start punching him, despite the cries of pains from Min Ha. (Ow...) He then breaks free from the people beating him and runs off. A guys shouts "Get him!" They all chase after him and one finally catches him. Min Ha shouts "Let go!", but another guy catches his ankle and he falls to the ground, only to be painfully beaten up by the many guys. Ganging up on one poor guy... shameful.

Now the scene changes to a girl with a big package behind her, riding a bike into Shinhwa School. This girl is none other than our female protagonist: Guem Jan Di!

Jan-Di stops her bike and looks surprised. The reason for this is none other than the security post! (LOL!)

Jan-Di backtracks her bike to face the security uncle.

Security uncle:" What is the purpose of your visit?" (Of course the school for the most prestigious is well guarded, won't want anyone creeping in and bombing or killing them!)

Jan-Di:"Ah yes...I'm delivering from Jan Di Dry Cleaners."

Security uncle says okay... and presses a button to lift the security barrier that had stopped Jan-Di from passing earlier on. (I love Jan-Di's awkwardness with the security uncle! This is what makes her adorable! <3 )

She breathes a sigh of relief and thanks the uncle, then proceeding to ride on.

The scene changes to a toilet cubicle violently shaking with cries of pain coming from it.

The toilet door then opens, with two guys going out of it, looking pleased and happy with themselves.

One of the guys:" He doesn't give up!"

The toilet door then opens, revealing a bloody Min Ha from all that beating in the cubicle.

Min Ha kneels one leg and hand down, due to being worn out from all that beating in there. The guys smirk and points to him. His face shows angry and he shouts out, going on to kick and punch the guys int he face. Retaliation!





Two other guys outside the toilet (supposedly guarding the toilet) sees this and rushes in to hold back Min Ha by the shoulders. But Min Ha is not so easily defeated! He holds the two guys and smashes them against the toilet wall while they are still holding on to him. They get taken by surprise, while Min Ha throws them aside. (Woot! ^^) Min Ha holds the toilet walls and pants while staring at the bullies.

Scene changes back to show Jan-Di, now confirming that the package behind her is actually a black coat hanging on a rack or something. Now it shows Min Ha running barefooted (his shows taken off by the bullies??) clutching his back and stomach, running for his life(Literally). Camera switches to show Jan-Di gaping at the grandness of the school for a moment, then changes again to show Min Ha's pursuers/bullies.

They are carrying clubs? Way too cruel man.. after you guys just beaten him to a pulp in the toilet. A guy shouts "Hurry up and find him, dammit!"











Scene shows Min Ha running into the hall of the school. He climbs up the stairs and stops for a while because of too immense pain. (Overkill, mates) The pursuers run into the hall and look up and down for him. A guy spots him and shouts: There he is! Let's go!" and everyone immediately chases after him. This then shows Jan-Dia arriving int he school and parking her bicycle. Now, she's walking around looking for someone. A shocked look fills her face when she sees something as she descends down stairs.

[Cuteness overload man! <3]

No wonder she's shocked, coming from a dry cleaner's family, she probably hasn't seen this in a SCHOOL yet.

It's practically like a buffet in a 5-star hotel! No wonder Jan-Di has her mouth open in shock. I would be the same way too! Now, we can see the meter of prestigious-ness in this school. A buffet for a 5-star hotel as the cafeteria in a school...

Jan-Di looks at the delicious food laid out by the chefs and swallows. She knows she can never ever afford to eat this kind of stuff. (Aww... ) Jan'Di"Is this really a school?" (I know right!!) Behind her, a student comes running down and says:" Hey! The roof! The rooftop! Lee Min Ha is at the rooftop now!"

Several students are attracted by the news and one of them says:" What? Really?"

"Is he putting on some kind of show?"

"No, he's covered in blood."

Jan-Di looks confused by the sudden commotion caused.

"Oh, really?"

Jan-Di:" Lee Min Ha?" This name rings a bell in her head. 

"Lee Min Ha?!" She rides her bike to near under the rooftop and stops. She then pushes through the crowd gazing up at the rooftop to get a clear picture of what is happening.

Yep, Lee Min Ha attempting suicide, balancing on the railings. 

Bespectacled guy:"What did I say? He wouldn't last a week."

His friend:" Hey, at least he lasted three weeks."

Bespectacled guy:"But he resisted three days.

Scene turns to show Min Ha walking on the railing as the commotion down there continues, surrounded by a crowd of students laughing at him.

Now, this is way cold-blooded, not helping him is enough, but laughing at someone who is about to commit suicide? I really start to suspect what is Shinhwa's students' true nature.... Nice on the exterior but cold-blooded on the interior. That's what I call it.




Lee Min Ha turns around with a bloody face and looks at the crowd laughing at him. "This is what you guys want, right?" He nods and continues"Okay, I'll give you what you want." He turns and looks down at the other crowd down there, dejectedly. He looks down, closes his eyes and readies to jump. But guess who turns up at this moment? Our protagonist, Jan-Di!

Jan-Di:" Wait! Wait, student Lee Min Ha! Customer!"

Jan-Di pants as she clutches on to the clothes, now supposedly Lee Min Ha's. (LOL, this is so adorable, haha!)

Min-Ha looks perplexed and asks:" What...what are you?"

Jan-Di:" Me? Well, speaking for myself, I've come to deliver your clothes!" (LOOOL)

Jan-Di continues:" Jan Di Dry Cleaners, 30,000 Won, please!"

(I love her really cute expression now, as if she doesn't know that Min Ha is going to jump off...)

After she said that, the group of students around her burst into laughter. A dry cleaner coming up to collect money just before the customer is about to commit suicide. Sure, that's funny.

Min Ha turns around and gives something like a sigh that he can't believe this. Jan-Di mistakes this for the price being too expensive and says:" Okay, okay, 20,000 ... 5,000 Won." Then she points at Min Ha and exclaims:" Your gym clothes are service. But you better become a regular." (Note that iin this case the service means doing things for free so it attracts customers.)

Boys Over Flowers Episode 1 Synopsis Part 1

The episode kicks off by showing a news broadcast, with a male and female broadcaster.

Female voice (mixed with male broadcaster's voice)" The Korean Corporation Shinhwa Group has been selected, to be the largest corporate sponsor in the 2011 London Olympics"

At the end of the male broadcaster's sentence, a few additional windows of news broadcast come into the pictures, implying that Shinhwa Group's sponsorship is a relatively big news.

The largest sponsor is Shinhwa Group.

Female voice (mixed with broadcasters' voices): "And therefore in the global-wide recession ... South Korea's economic growth started, it has maintained the status of the best company and kepy growing and growing and then reached the levle of a multinational renowned corporation, its name is Shinhwa." Now the picture shows many many news broadcasting this. Shinhwa is definitely not a company to be messed with. ;)

The next scene shows a towering tall office building with the name Shinhwa.

Female voice:" Electronics, oil, automobiles, distribution, and telecommunications. If you are a citizen of South Korea, you know the two letters of Shinhwa before you know the president's name, and have created a kingdom and therefore is Korea's largest conglomerate.

The scenes show a big place filled with cars (supposedly a place where they deposit their cars before they ship them off somewhere, I think), a big shopping mall (sure looks luxurious) and it shows the exterior of the mall with the name "Shinhwa Mart". Next, shows a petrol station with the name SH (Shinhwa, if you haven't figured that out). A car drives in and a few pretty girls say together : "Hello, this is Shinhwa!"

The scene now shows a big office with an empty chair and moves on to show numerous awards and photos (with famous and important people).

Female voice:" On a day where they had managed to increase their imports by one trillion Won, and were sent to the Blue House, (like the White House in USA) the founder of this company instead of receiving a medal said, 'Sir, please allow me to build a school where my grandchildren could attend.' And then, there it was, Shinhwa School.

-scene shows branded cars driving in to a grand school, with the sign outside saying Shinhwa School.

Female voice:" The first school in the history of Korea to be backed by the president, who believed that economic advancement was more important than education, (scene shows grand school [like really, really grand] with some people riding on horses, some in little cars, like those kind you ride in a really big house with big fields and everything.) and even went to make special laws to accommodate the school."

++ Now, here's a bit of my opinion, this Shinhwa school may not sound so great after all. Like seriously, economic advancement more important than education is somewhat acceptable, making special laws to accommodate this school is outrageous. Maybe this school isn't so great and special (except for the fact its probably super luxurious) in the inside of this school. Well, we'll find out soon!++

Female voice (makes me wonder who is narrating) :" And now there is a saying, if you don't have Shinhwa School on your resume, don't even bother applying."

++Now seriously, things start to get out of hand here. Like, there are so many Koreans, and there is only one Shinhwa school, so you think the rest of them going to end up jobless? Not criticizing, just mentioning that its a bit exaggerated here...++

Female voice:" It is a school made for the 1%, attended by the 1%, and fit for the 1%, and therefore the reputation of the best elite school. Most common people, even if they apply when they are born, they cannot get in to the Shinhwa Kindergarten, but when accepted, then you have the way paved nonstop for Elementary, Middle and High school, and even University. It is subject of jealousy and awe for the rest of the nation's students, and parents who suffer from the hard admissions to universities. However, in this Shinhwa High School, a school for the chosen, something unimaginable was happening."

Now the scene shows a guy with trembling hands, holding a key and opening his locker.

A snapshot of the guy's face, looks stricken with worry... (Badadadum...get ready for some dramatic stuff happening!)




In this guy's locker there is a red card, with a skull, with the words F4 on it!!



Now, now, now, what is going on here? Death threat?








The guy stares intently at the card. He looks a bit scared, but not shocked. He may have foreseen this might happen. He looks behind him and people surround him. Someone calls out" Oh my, Min Ha!" So now we know this guy's name, Min Ha. His expression turns from scared to worried. The guy who previously said his name walks up to him and says "What are we gonna do with you? You bastard!" Things start to get violent here. He twists Min Ha's arm but Min Ha turns and escapes away, only to be caught by the shoulders by two other guys standing nearby.

Hey guys! So I have actually decided to do some korean drama synopsis during my holidays, and they will come out pretty soon since I'm working on them now.
